Pet insurance
Ok, so I've just sorted Lola's insurance. It covers upto £3500 vet bills. Is this a good amount or should I shop about. Oh, and it's £180 a year. Cheers

Re: Pet insurance
I would go for a higher cover and lifetime of condition otherwise you could get screwed over

Re: Pet insurance
Mine's £7500 per condition for the life of each condition. Mine's about £30 a month, but that's because I've claimed over £5000!

Re: Pet insurance
higher cover i got 7500 and benson had a claim this month for a limp - xrays alone was £700 + meds + sent xray to a xpert its already 1000 and if limps again will need CT scan so thats another 500-1000 lol

Re: Pet insurance
I used to be with Direct line but dropped them as they didn't do a good discount for 2 , we did have a small claim over Tilly's leg when she was a pup that came to about 250quid and they paid out fine though

Re: Pet insurance
I would say go for a little higher cover if you can. Do you have a list of vet fees anywhere that you can have a look at. They would soon add up if an op was needed for example and a couple of grand wouldn't go that far.

Re: Pet insurance
I've just gone for the higher one. £25 a month with £7500 vet bills etc etc etc. for the sake of an extra tenner a month she's more than worth it.
