How is it? Empty How is it?

1. How is it she knows? This morning i thought ha i'll teach ya doggy so i got my pooch walking clothes, thick socks, jumper, coat and wellies on as silently as possible, 2 rooms 2 shut doors away, Cassie was going mad at the door not listening bouncing about, it was still dark no one had been near her, no one had spoken but she was waiting hurry up! how?
2. How is it i can't tire a staffy out? 6.15am we left, 1 hour of lead work training as it was going light staffy off lead time, ran around for an hour back on the lead 30 mins ish, then more off lead running i was shattered just watching lol, we got home about 9.45 ish, put the kettle on picked her lead up off the side,Cassie went mad she was ready to go again doh
3. How is it on a cold and frosty morning iced up cars, white grass, my nidgirynoo hiding in my lungs it's that cold, dogs frozen to lamp post's you always get at least 2 people driving down the street with a fist sized gap in the ice on the window screen and the rest of the car filled with ice? how mad are these people. It makes it so dangerous to walk down the street i poopied myself at least twice, i thought we were dead where we stood

1. They always know!
2. You can't tire them out, not even worth trying! We used to walk Bandit around the city of london on a sunday. 3, sometimes 4 hours we'd be walking. Get home exhausted, sit down, nice cup of tea & guess what? Yep, he wants out again!
3. They're absolute idiots. We get them round here as well (everywhere, probably). All our sideroads here are hills, so you get people driving with no way of seeing anything other than a 12" round clearance of frost on slippery hills in an area with three primary schools!

at wits end angry

Have you tried a backpack yet? We use one in the winter because Suki's energy level goes up when it's cold out. We also use it if we have to leave her alone for more than 4 hours.

How do you mean? I don't think a 13.9kg staffy on my back will take her energy away Laughing I take it you mean for Cassie to carry, what will it do for us?

The pack is for Cassie Big Grin It lets her carry her own food, water, treats etc. We usually put about 6kg or so of weight in it when we take Suki. The extra weight makes her more tired. After a 2 hour walk she sleeps most the rest of the day. Without the pack she is ready to go again in an hour or so.

Given Cassie's weight 2-3 kg or so should make a difference

ooooh is there room for poop sacks? so she can carry her own smelly waste Big Grin. I am going to look into that, may be a bit embarrassing though never seen a dog around here with one on, but worth a try i think, Thanks for a great suggestion Big Grin

Yeah there's plenty of room for poop sacks Big Grin Here's a pic of Suki with hers on. Not many people use them here either but I think they are great espically for giving them a little bit more exercise

1. They always know. ALWAYS. Loki wakes up and starts crying because he hears me getting dressed even though I'm in my room and he's in the living room Laughing
2. Tell me about it Rolling Eyes I walk/play with Loki until I feel like I'm going to collapse, and he's not even panting.
3. People are idiots, case closed Big Grin

They are awesome. I've read so many good reports on them. Plus it'll give Cassie a wee job to do so it'll benefit her. Ezydog stuff always seems to be made for comfort to the dog.

I know it'll be a good job for Logan too when he's more of a big boy. Somewhere said to wait to 18 months before adding weight. So I'll wait until then before trying it.

I know it sounds daft but i was also wondering if it will help in terms of a bit of a coat in the rain, keep the sun off (assuming we get some of the hot stuff) and she can carry her own things like her long lead and water, poop and some beers for me Big Grin

Amazon have the Ezydog back pack at around £30, see link below. Just check which size you would need:
