Hi all from new members Matty and Lola!!
Hello everyone. Just thought I'd say a quick hello from us. Lola is 9 weeks old and absolutely brilliant. I have a question with regards to what looks like dandruff. The other day she decided it would be fun to slide through a puddle of her wee. So we used a "dog wipe" on her. Do u think this could of caused it? Or, I am just changing over her food from what her breeder was feeding her, purina. Could it be this? Thanks a lot guys.

Welcome to the forum!
Has she been bathed much in general? I find that when I bath Logan his skin can be a bit dry and seem a bit flaky, like dandruff. It's advisable not to over-bath them, but as we all know, they sometimes like to make a mess of themselves and you have no option!
Logan was on Purina Pro Plan for a while but it didn't agree with him at all. I was glad to see the end of the bag. I feed James Wellbeloved, it's hypoallergenic and seems to be working a treat! It's well priced too.

No, we just used these wipes as wasn't too sure if bathing her at 9 weeks was a good thing or not... Yes or no?? And yeah, I've read elsewhere that purina isn't the best.

Hi and welcome to the forum from Rocky and me.
Over bathing will strip the skin and coat of it's natural oils and cause the skin to dry out. A rinse in just warm water should be fine unless a shampoo is needed.

Personally, in my opinion, scrap it. It's far too dear anyway and it really didn't work well with my fella.
I'd say buy a good firm, bristled brush and give her a regular brush opposed to bathing so I think you are right in that aspect! I try not to bath Logan too much.

Hi from Ella and us. Staffys can be prone to skin problems, keep an eye on it and if it continues then get down to the vets.
Codliver oil capsule every day helps to keep Ella's coat in good nick, it may work for you
