I've never seen it or read the book. I do know a bit about the dog it's about though!

He was a Bulldog x Manchester Terrier & was one of the dogs used to re-introduce colour into the EBT.

A South African who came to our house to install TV/phone loved Mani and advised us to watch this movie. It's online for free @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K9D_Ui25cw

Re: Jock of the Bushveld.
He was a famous dog in South Africa & became a bit of a legend. Went everywhere with his master & protected him through thick & thin. Fantastic dog, by all accounts.
He was used in this country (as far as I can remember without looking it up) to introduce colour into the EBT to combat the health issues that followed breeding solely for white, and then went to S.A.
Someone from South Africa will probably now come on & tell me I'm talking a load of crap!
