after reading that all i can say is, lost cause, honestly, u tried your best but just wait and see, i dont mean to me dismissive or negative but all these wee scally/neds is the 250 opr 300 quid they/;ll get for a pup nowadays xxx

I doubt he'll be bothered, to be honest, but I applaud you for at least trying! If you try to educate 10 people & only one responds, then you've done the breed a good turn. The more people who are responsible, the better!
