One Down, Many More To Go!

Took chase to the park today for a nice long walk in the rain and mud! Bumped into a man with a couple of year old Labradors. The dogs caught each others eyes and did the typical puppy greeting of sniffing and jumping all over each other.

His were already off the lead n i let chase off to play with them, at which point face his facial expression changed from to

I laughed n said don't worry his fine with other dogs (while chase was jumping all over his dogs just to prove my point ) They all ran around for about 20 minutes while we stood n laughed at them trying to figure out who was chasing who.

The dogs came back n we started to go our separate ways, n the bloke said "your dogs really changed my opinion of staffys, i spose i was a bit ignorant to think they were all aggressive and owned by chavs"

I just laughed and said "go tell that to the news papers, would make a nice change to hear something positive about the breed in the media"

Chase then ran off and rolled in a muddy puddle I spose one good deed was enough for one day!

Yay, thats great I love the name of this thread too, there are many more to go opinions wise but the opinion of 1 person changed is great

I thought it was funny that he was so good, then decided it was time for a little mischief so rolled in a huge puddle lol.

Thats a nice story to hear you wont get many people saying that i had one women who avoided me for months with kaiser until one day we crossed paths and now she doesnt bother. I find as well that the little old ladies love kaiser they always come up with there dogs and let them play its the middle agers that are always funny and when they see us coming get there dog on a lead and turn to go the other way or i have actually seen some pick up there dogs and run lol i just laugh because kaiser is as soft as * i always think he is too soft.

love it ! i live in a tiny little village and were i walk alf is an old railway line turned into a foot path, and the amount of people walking their dogs that say how nice it is to see one so friendly really makes me happy, he plays with a 7 month old dalmation, a 2 year old springer a choco lab,a bichon frise, and my dads lhasa apso, and hes brilliant with them all, he even runs away from me if he see's someone walking has a fuss of them and then comes straight back, makes people laugh

Yer thers still a few people on the park that don't take too friendly to chase. Its a shame, Buuuut i spose thats what you get when you have an "intimidating" breed. People were the same with my last dog Jenson, he was a boxer, people gave him the same look they give chase. Their loss, not ours!

I get similar with Dempsey all the time. Most people round here (except a stupid c*w with a GSD puppy) know me now & know Dempsey.
