Have you tried raising the bowl off of the floor and adding a tennis ball or other object they have to eat around so they can't eat as fast?

A rock is more effective than a tennis ball, which is very light and easy to push out of the way. Rocks and bricks are common in horse feed buckets! lol

Alternatively you can buy a special bowl (i posted the link but it was huge. google "Slow Down Bowl" and you can get them eady on eBay or amazon for very cheap.

I hope the bowls work for you.

I wish there was a "hurry up and eat" bowl I could get Logan sometimes...

Even if they have seperate bowls they still may be competing with each other to eat the fastest. Before buying more bowls try feeding them in different rooms or at different times.

We split Rockys meals into three portions so there isn't much in the bowl to eat at a time, thus has slowed the eating time down and he doesn't scoff it down in one go. You could also try stuffing his food into a kong and freezing it, this will also slow down the time it takes to eat it.

spike has a 3 edged distribution food thing, he knocks it around and food pops out as he too used to scoff his food and do exactly the same as your dogs !!!
