My Stafford needs a new home
Hi all
Sorry if I have put this post in a wrong section.
Anyway I have my Stafford who needs to go to a new home which I really don't want to do. Basically I am having to move out of my rented house because of the landlord selling up. I have sorted out my new accommodation but the new landlord will not accept pets, and I even offered more rent to take Gipsie (My dog) with me but the answer was a straight NO! So I am just wondering if there was anybody on here who could help me out and take her in? She is 4 years old brindle and absolute brilliant with our children. We took her in at the age of one as she was not being looked after by a neighbour so I thought the right thing to do was to give her a good life (Which shes had) the only thing is now in our situation I can not give her the best life. She does not really get on with other dogs or cats hence the reason I walk her on her lead and loves it. If there is anybody that can help give her a good home I would much appreciate it.
Thank you
Liam

Re: My Stafford needs a new home
You must be heartbroken. I'm sorry I can't help, wish I could. I'm not supposed to have dogs here either, but I do.
Any way you can make it work?? I'm shared ownership (hence no dogs) so I just stay quiet and my neighbours love her.

A family member or friend can not take her while you get settled and the landlord doesn't think you have her?

Yeah I see where your coming from but its just the fact i've mentioned her now to the landlord. If he makes a visit I cant say im looking after a dog as it will seem abit funny. I also have kids so cant take the risk of being kicked out on the street for breaking my agreement if you know what I mean. Like I say I feel to blame for it just for being honest about having a pet, and now look what situation im in!!

Does your landlord have the right to just turn up at your door without giving you notice as my son rents out property and he needs to give notice to veiw so could you not have a reletive to look after her. Its such a heartbreaking situation your in.liamawinter wrote:Yeah I see where your coming from but its just the fact i've mentioned her now to the landlord.
