Ow!!

Well fetch has been going really well which means Ledger is getting a good run out, we still need two balls but even if he tries leaving one where it lands to comes back for the other he will (eventually) on command go back and get the first ball back he is still very enthusiastic though and will come back at as full pelt as he chases the ball....you can see where this is going....I was at the bottom of the slope he came tearing towards me slid on the mud and couldn't stop and went headfirst into my shins (somehow managing to get both) not quite sure how I stayed on my feet but for a moment I thought something was broken I was in so much pain just glad there was no one else in the park to see me crumple up

been there done that there like little battering ramms and give you some corker bruises on shins etc

Think we all have bruised legs, and sometimes a bloody nose or thick lip from head buts and kisses but we all come back for more

I think most of us have been there at some time or another I know I have and now always carry a small box of plasters in my bag, along with everything else that's needed for a walk.

Oh i know that pain! Katy will charge at me & either slam her front feet into my leg just above the knee or side slam my shin It's her favourite game i think

Well noticed

.. I can still feel Zac my last staffy hitting me in the shin and taking me clean off my feet .. sounds funny, but to this day I have no idea how he didnt shatter the bone in my leg ... it was more painfull than hitting a VW Passat at about 40mph (bike crash 2yrs back)

and .... funnily enough, Max hit me square in the calf muscle last week and I ended up on my ar$e ... that bloody hurt un'all

Ouch I don't know why you haven't learnt to dodge yet though. I've employed this tactic with me and Loki and it's worked nicely
