When murphy is out with the girlfriend he seems good as gold, happily sits next to other dogs.

When hes with me hes very aggressive towards other dogs within a 10ft parameter.

Anybody else find their wee man is more laid back around mum then dad?

I find mine seems more protective of me than my gf but its only towards men not women or dogs..

The question is are you worried about that when you take him out. That he is going to be aggresive to other dogs.

A lot of dogs behave in relation to how their owner is feeling or acting. Are you in anyway nervous or aprehensive when you are out?

I've found that in some situations I'm a bit concerned when out with Logan and he then magnifies that and behaves badly. I personally don't like dealing with dogs off the lead unless I know the dog/person and because of that Logan can be a bit nervous too. But if I just take a deep breath and relax he'll be 100% fine.

Harry is the same when I'm walking him, but I sometimes use a dog walker when I have to go out for more than a couple of hours and she has never seen him react to another dog in the 4 years she has taken him out.

yeah very protective over me but kind of a "meh" attitude when out with her.

I can be a little nervous as hes proven on a number of occasions hes not happy to play with other dogs, and can be fairly aggressive.

I just make sure we keep our distance and if theres a dog within 100meters or so he goes back on lead but keep all his attention on me to try and get him over it.

Then move it closer and just try and keep him happy and tail wagging as close to dogs as possible

We have found that Rocky can be very protective when it's just me walking him rather than when he is with both of us. He doesn't like to see men walking alone and will get a bit protective when we see them when I am out with him. It's strange because I'm sure he knows I wouldn't let anything happen to him.

Moo only has me, so not much help Xx

Suki is much more protective of my OH but she is the primary handler and care giver as well
