socialzing

we got Ty a year ago he is about 7 or 8 we got him off my stepdaughter who had him 3 years she could not handle him after her husband left so we took him to try and find him a new home but guess what we fell in love with him took him to the vets to get checked over found out he had a chip and had been missing since he was 18 months old he had come from Milton Keynes we got in touch with the owners and they wanted him back i was so upset but had to let him go they came for him on the Thursday took him back to Milton Keynes but that's not the end we got a phone call Saturday morning from the owner asking if we wanted him back because he nearly killed the cat peed every where and would not do as he was told well i was not going to say no they brought him back that night took them 5 hours to drive to my house in irlam he went crazy when he saw us we then found out that he had 7 different homes. it was hard work at first training him but now you could not ask for a better dog love him to bits he is so intelligent i think i have the best dog in the world the only thing is he does not like any other dogs and he hates cats lol

well that hate of cats technically brought him back to you Our 2 don't like them simply because they have always run away from them when they've shown an interest , I'm really not sure either way what would happen if the cat stood it's ground

I'm sorry I don't have any advice on how to socialise him due to his age and messed up life Poor boy.. Just wanted to say Well Done for putting the effort into training him and giving him a loving home

You know his problems, and at his age its doubtful if he will change. Just be thankful that you are altogether again.
