Advice needed....

Jess is rescue we've had her since July, she has come from being around dogs and was never dog agressive till recently. She walks off the lead always goes up to dogs has a sniff and walks away. A couple of weeks ago bf was walking her and she decided to do her staffie stance and starts to have a go at another dog, which she has never done before and has also a couple of days ago done the same stance with her husky friend lola. We can tell when its going to happen with the look on her face. Could she be getting too used to human company and not enough interaction with other dogs??

She could be picking up different signs off other dogs, best to keep er on lead for a while when others are around, check this link for hints of things to look out for when walking

no advice to add , Dave 's said enough already and please read the link

I tend to not trust my 2 these days as it can be hit and miss so I always have them clipped on around other dogs until we know the reactions

The body language link is great and will give you the signs to watch for. Do you have a long line for Jess to use, then you can keep control and she can have a little run around too and keep up with her socialization.

I agree with Dave. If in doubt, get her on lead until you are sure. Some dogs are just like that from time to time.

like people, dogs dont like every dog they meet, heck they dont even like their friends every day, just like us

thanks it seems to be little yappy dogs she doesnt like but is fine with bigger dogs like her 2 husky friends, will keep her on her lead and see how she gets on, she passes a house with a westie in tje garden that is constantly barking and shes not even bothered with it.

My boy reacts differently to different dogs, in general he loves other dogs but seeing a dog from a distance his body language changes, he stands tall, puffs his chest out n basically looks like 'don't mess with me' even tho he's soft ad they come !
