sorry
I feel i need to say sorry. I think I'm getting a bit OTT lately. Im moody, swearing alot and all because i care too much about Staffs. Its getting out of hand, so im trying and stay away for a bit. Try and get this in hand. I know deep down its daft to feel so strongly about something, but i do. Im so over whelmed by the amount of people mis treating dogs that its really getting to me.

I think you need to just stop reading the bad stories. Its nice that you care a lot but reading them obsessively is making you stressed. If you are stressing out, keep away from the stories. Delete the sale pages, delete the animal charity pages and don't read the topics you think may annoy you. Stress is not good for anyone, but talking over things here can help.
Chill out!

Yeah I agree with Hayley. You need to avoid these stories as they will upset you. It's not easy as all of us will focus on a story especially if staffy is in the title! I had to stop myself looking at Gumtree as I was getting sad and vexed ><

Re: sorry
Thats something I'd love to do. It's real hands on help. I just worry that actually seeing these poor dogs in the flesh will break me, but yes, i will look into it

I know how you feel - I get really upset too - not just about Staffs, although that's what gets me the most - but for all animals that are hurt or treated badly.
Like Hayley said, I do avoid all the bad stories as I'd rather not know about individual cases. Makes me too upset.

Re: sorry
Please don't be sorry for loving animals, far too many humans don't love them, but you do need to remember you can't help them all no matter how much love you have. And you know more worry will make you ill so please stop worrying ><

Re: sorry
Hi Kelly, when you care about dogs as much as you obviously do, it's very hard to read and hear about events over which you have no control. Much as we'd all like to, we none of us can cure all the problems in the world, we can only do what we can where we can.
If at the moment you are feeling really down about this, could I ask you to visit your doctor? It may be that medication could help, or be adjusted a bit.
Look after yourself and your lovely dog first!

Re: sorry
Stay away from the stories, at least until you can calm yourself over it. Bad things happen all over the world, to people and animals, and you can't save every single one of them. Nor should we have to be constantly stressed out and upset about it, it's an unfortunate fact of life. A rescue centre might be good if you can volunteer there or something, so you know you're contributing to helping dogs who need help.

Were female, we are aloud to have dramatics!!! Just take a deep breath, walk away then come back to the upsetting news and you will look at it in a logical light! Bad news is pants but as i see its part of life. Go have a cuddle with your gorgeous doggy
