Hi all,

the last few days, Marley seems as though she has become bored with her food. We are feeding Wellness Super5Mix for puppy. She used to gobble it up. I have been making it "more interesting" by making a gravy out of wet puppy food, that sparked the interest for a few days, now that seems to be uninteresting now. she will eat, but its like she ignores the food, i even thought she may be distracted with us being there so we would leave and she would only eat half. its become a concern now because according to the feeding chart, its time to increase her portions as she has hit 15 lbs now. i have discussed with my wife that i may go today and get some samples of http://precisepet.com/dog-formulas/precise-holistic-complete/dry/small-medium-breed-puppy/ , that has a high quality review. i was also thinking of breaking up the feedings to 4 smaller portions instead of 3, but i am embarassingly having a hard time getting the measurement correct as my math skills unfortunatley are extremely poor, 2 3/4 cups divided by 3 or 4 Rolling Eyes . but anyway i just want to make sure my girl continues her healthy growth.

i thought i had gone crazy that the post disappeared lol. she is 15 weeks tomorrow. I put her dinner in a dispensing toy last night and she pretty much ate it all off the floor as it dispensed, but it had sat in her bowl for 45 mins prior to me putting it in there.

I have had this problem on and off since Logan was very young. He would actually eat nothing, as he was so against eating his food.

I read online that mixing a tablespoon of olive oil would make him gobble it up, and it most def did. He loves the stuff and it made his boring dry food seem so much better. I do it every meal now.

Someone also advised on the forum about trying a tin of sardines. I didn't think this would work because of the smell but I have honestly never seen a dog enjoy something so much in my life! The only issue is if you start mixing exciting new flavours she may come to expect it.

Haha I know how you feel. The smell of meat in general sorta makes me a bit iffy. Suprisingly however, Logan's breath wasn't even really that bad after them. I only give him them once a week. A good drink of fresh water and he was back to normal.
