Tonsils Out. Empty Tonsils Out.

Got to go in hospital Wednesday to have my tonsils out am petrified heard alot of horrid stories. Don't suppose anyone has had theirs out as an adult and could advise on what to expect? nail biting

I had mine out with my anoniods but I was only about 4 years, so I can't help, but good luck anyway

I've still got mine, but my OH had his taken out when he was about 35. It was a bit sore for a little while (I can't remember exactly how long, but it wasn't long), and there were no complications or anything.

Don't worry, you'll be back to normal before you know it - it'll be a good chance to get spoilt rotten!
