Fun Dog Show
I know there are a couple of you in Wales & at least one near Cardiff (Claire, that's you!), so I thought I'd take the liberty of advertising this fun dog show which was posted on another forum. If you can, please do go, it's for an excellent charity!

Re: Fun Dog Show
I have him off lead in the field thats all fenced in. But apart from that he stays on it.
Not sure 100% if Blue has had his vaccinations so he had his 1st of 2 last week and has his second next week. After that I can book him in for classes
Can't wait. The place I have found has an indoor arena just for dogs with agility, flyball, weight pulling as well as obidence training.

I'm jelous!! That sounds so much fun, we have a therapy pool for dogs about 30mins drive away and apart from that nothing! I would love to get Moo into flyball. How long have you had Blue now?

Re: Fun Dog Show
About 7 months. He has come on loads really concidering he was a nervous wreck when I got him.
I can see me using the facility allot if he manages to become socialable.
I'll be looking for something my autistic will be able to do with him once I get him behaving better around other animals. So hopefully they might do some sort of kids training classes......she would love that.
I googled dog training Blackburn to find this place.....not far at all and never even knew it was there

Even if they don't do kids classes particularly I'm sure they'd let her have a go at training. When I co-ran a training club (many years ago) we had a lot of youngsters who'd come with their parents & take over half way through the evening. They used to have a lot of fun.

Re: Fun Dog Show
I hope so cos there isn't allot for her to do. She used to go to a farm. It was for special needs. One week she would do horse riding the next she would hold & feed loads of animals like rabbits, hamsters, snakes. she loved it and it's well known that autisic kids love being with animals.
She's not very authoritative so Blue will have to be a bit better behaved for her to take over. But I think she would love it and give her a hobbie
