why cant i love everyone?

there a few i just cant stand to look at!!

i hate me mum side & i hate couple on my dad side

the only people i like is my uncle andy and rob their kids the rest i wouldn't care if they die tomoz!

Am i a bad person or is it normal in family?

This is probably going to get me a few negative votes and make me look bad, but my dad died 6 years ago from cancer, from that day to this i still don't understand the family mourning, i arranged the funeral/wake and still nothing. I think others are weired, i just get on with life. So no it's not just you

Nah, thats why we choose our friends and not our family. My family is a very weird set up but if i had to put up hear what i thought of the people who brought me into the world id b hear forever. Make the mist of those u love!!

No-one can love everyone Steve, we're human and not divine.

I'm not going to quote the old saw "you can choose your friends etc ..." cos you know it already.

What I would say is - yes some relatives will get on your wick for one reason or another (who knows, you might get on their wick as well!) - we are all different people with different personalities. But hey - you don't see them every day do you - just let them go their way and you go yours.

Nah, doesn't make you bad. Honestly, I hate this concept that you have to love your family because they're family. Like no matter what they might do that's terrible, you have to forgive them and love them because you share some DNA. Just stupid. I don't hate any of my family, but I'm not close to any of them except my parents and a couple of other people. Hell, me and my brother hardly speak to each other and we live in the same house. It's not dislike, it's just how we are. Anyway, I don't think there's anything wrong with not liking someone (whatever your reasons are).

I never see my dads family which is a shame cause they are all lovely people. I see far too much of my mums family which is a shame cause they're all Trollops.

i dont want to get started with our family. We both cant stand my wifes side of the family and have not spoken or seen them for years. My side of the family are ok. One brother i see weekly another brother who i dont see at all. Would rather have these 2 dogs here they give more than family. So no Steve your not crackers etc coz there are alot of others just the same. Dave i was in same boat as you my dad died 1997 from cancer and i arranged everything. My mum then came to live with me for 3 years and i took time out for those 3 years to look after her but it became too much. She went into a nursing home where she died in 2007.

Me well I don't mind my family either side, since I lost both parents it has brought both sides together , but my hubby's family I only like his dad and sister,don't have much to do with his mum. Now his brother who is a little younger than my hubby, his wife I really hate and the feeling is mutual heehee it's so bad that not even my hubby has been invited to his nieces wedding ! Which isn't fair really but that's family life eh ?

Nah most people don't like it when I tell them I hate my mum and the feeling from her is pretty much the same.

I cried for days when my mam died at 50 yr old (I was 23) lost my dad last year and barely thought about it (we hadnt spoke for something like 5 or 6 years) couldn't stand most of the family on his side as they are all benefit scrounging scumbags, so no you're not alone Steve

You can't choose your family Steve, you can love them and not like them. There is nothing wrong with that. You have a large doggy family. I love my family but I also have non family that I include as family, I'm lucky with that Blood isn't necessarily family!
