When it come's to Staffy's, Im totally over the top. In fact, I would make them a Protected Species if i had my way. Every single one of them means the world to me. If i won the lotto, I'd open the biggest 5* Rescue in the world, and just give them every thing they'd ever need, plus an overdose of love. Shame there wasnt a way that we could raise money and open our very own Staffy-bull-Terrier-Rescue.

The amount of love you have for staffs is amazing and it's a wonderful dream, but it also sounds like a lot of stress on your shoulders. There are so many things in the world i would like to do if i had the money, but for now to rescue the staffs starts with the education of people. I have read a few of your posts and staffy welfare is always tops, and in my humble opinion is the best 1st steps to realistic rescue

Don't mean to ruin on your Staff-related love, but I'd open a 5* rescue for all dog breeds, because as much as I love Staffs, I love most breeds, they're all beautiful and great . Hmm...maybe if you win the lottery it can happen?

nice idea we had the same idea if we ever came into money. Would save them all

What i always say, as much as we all would do the rescue if we won the big one (you need to be doinng the euro haha) education is the way forward and thats what we need to do. I would love to go round to schools and educate the little ones and thena again at high school and if that message got across to at least a third that would be a third we helped! Not going round like the RSPCA do (who yes do a fab job) but doing real life, the right way and wrong way if you get me............

I've promised myself that if I work hard enough I can retire early and do a similar thing myself lol!

My ultimate dream would be to set up a school to train Staffies to be PAT dogs. They could then go to children's hospices and meet as many different people as possible and hopefully educate too.

I think that is amazing what they do and is there a reason why you couldnt start with one now and go from there.........(or do you work already) I think staffies would make fab PAT dogs

We are hoping to get Rocky into this anyway, just have to wait for him to calm down a little bit more first, maybe in another 6 months time. We can then start the training and get stuck in with it. We have been thinking about it for some time now.

You will have to keep us updated but i think its fab that your concidering it think it would be an amazing job and so fufilling
