Hello from South East Dog Rescue

Hi everyone, I'm Julie and I am a volunteer for South East Dog Rescue, who are based near Ashford, Kent.
Part of my work for SEDR includes cross posting dogs to these forums, and I am also a fosterer, I mainly take the young puppies, such as Benson who is my profile picture on here and is currently looking for a home.
All dogs re-homed through SEDR come with full rescue back up and we operate a no kill policy.
If you would like to see the dogs we currently have looking for homes (we are not breed specific, we take all types of dogs, and no matter what their condition or 'issues' may be) please visit our website www.sedogrescue.co.uk or become our friend on Facebook.
In addition, I am also a staffy owner myself, and she is a SEDR rescue dog - we were failed fosterers. Tilly is about 2 years old and was taken in by SEDR after being abandoned in January 2011. She had her front leg amputated due to a deformity soon after she came to SEDR and she's been living with my family and our black lab and labrador x whippet for about 11 months now, since just before her operation.

Rocky's picture could be my staffy if you change the colour, she is always in our bed, snuggled under the quilt - boy do staffy's like to keep warm and cosy!

I volunteer for a stray pound so have a slight idea of the work involved in rescuing dogs. There is a constant supply of unwanted dogs, and without people like you they would all be pts. 
Our Maddie is a rescue (we have had her about 3 months now) and she was at risk of being pts. It is heartbreaking...
