yep dogs can be weaned straight onto raw and my harv has been fed raw from a pup Smile

A raw diet is meat, bones and offal. So you can almost feed just about anything!

So for those that feed raw do you still give dry dog food mixed in or is it just the raw meat?

I feed Steff Raw, some people do feed both raw and dry but if you decide to go this way don't feed them both together as they have different digestion times.. I used to feed both and I would feed raw in the morning and dry at night.. But now she just has 2 meals of raw Smile

Ella has set it out very clearly (below link) here, if you decide to feed raw read through this and if you have any questions just ask Big Grin Ella and Caryl are raw feeding experts around here and they will answer any questions you may have

For me it's mainly raw. Since Dempsey had bloat & needed an operation he has lost a lot of his stomach muscle tone so he has trouble evacuating all the waste. I use a vegetable biscuit as a roughage supplement, but other than that it's all raw. Certainly not commercial dog food.

no and wouldn't use it.

i feed big chunks of meat and bones, or whole animals like whole rabbits.

if you want to feed raw you need to research it's not as simple as putting meat in a bowl
