Why does my dog chatter?
My dog will just randomly chatter at any time of the day day. Is this normal staffy behaviour?

They do this for any number of reasons, excitement, adrenaline, nervousness, some males and even females when they smell a b*tch in heat, some dogs will do it when they have dental pain etc.

Haven't u ever heard of little Mr or Ms Havachat? lol Harley has a chat at times.
Is your dog alone at home? Maybe if there was some company for him to talk to he wouldn't do it, like sit and talk to him when you or your family get home from being away. He might be telling you about his day etc, he is trying to communicate with you.

Re: Why does my dog chatter?
We had a cat called Freddie that used to actually speak words, u could make out Mum, milk, in, out, yes, no, up and down and he woul also just meow for ages when i got home from school or my siblings got home from work, it was like he was telling us about his day and his adventures then when he was finished he'd shut up. It's so cute.
