I can't believe they don't have to honor the gift vouchers I spent £60 on 4 weeks ago gutted. But it is a shame because I don't like to download, I like looking at my collections in cd/DVD racks and soon nobody will sell them

NOOOOO. I'm always going to HMV, it's always so busy now where am I meant to spend ages browsing through DVDs?

It's all them jobs that go with it when a big company goes. Not good

Aw thats sad, i enjoyed browsing. However, they need to stop building and start knocking things down and making more green areas and wild areas. Everything is digital or online now so just have a big warehouse and sell on line.

tell me about it i was lucky with jessops ordered a 400quid lens through them on tue night trouble started wed so canceled the payment with my card issuer got out of that one by the skin of my teeth(they stillowed me uv filter and daisy cap )but atleast thats 20quid tops.
iv also got 50quid of hmv vouchers i tried to use last weekend to be told the till wasnt excepting then for some reason(now know why)
and now im thinking play.com will fully closedown not just streamline

Just heard about them on the BBC news, think they have now called in the administrators.

We never had a store in our town until a couple of years ago, then it was a pop up store that was there just for the Christmas period. They did this again Christmas just gone.

Very sad to hear of any shop closing down, just thinking of all the staff being made redundant and losing all that knowledge that have.

I think I went into a HMV twice ever.

Now Blockbuster is in administration, but still trading.
