We are not wanting to go down the prey route more the meaty bone route

How much should we be feeding roxy per day and what sort just scraps from the butchers bones etc ?

The Raw Meaty Bones diet & the Prey Model Diet are very similar. What is it you're not keen on with the PMR diet?

Have you read www.preymodelraw.com

That is bascially the same thing as the meaty bones diet anyway and will explain amounts etc

we are thinking of starting our dogs on a raw diet. Would rice and a variety of meat everyday 2 times a day provide our dogs with the nutrients they need.

No. They need a variety of 80% meat, 10% bones & 10% offal. They don't need rice at all. Have a look through the links that were posted earlier in this thread.
