When did it all change?
Just a thought. Back in the day if a dog barked or growled at you, you went around it and would think "don't go near that dog or its house, it might bite" and that would be it.
Now as soon as a dog sneezes people are off phoning the police crying out of control dangerous wild animal that is going to kill anyone and anything that goes near it and the owners are all drug lords who have guns and the dogs clearly a fighting dog trained to kill.
Have humans actually lost common sense? When did we cross the line of "DANGER - AVOID" to "DANGER - KILL EVERY DOG IN THE WORLD"
Have humans genuinely got thicker?

Unfortunately people have got thickier. The press has not helped as they sencionalise everything and this is what sells. Its not as bad in other countries though where dogs can still protect their owners without the police knocking on their door.

Re: When did it all change?
I think people have developed the theory that they have the right to do as they please and sod everyone else, and dare you or your dog to disagree then straight on the phone they go. I was in a bank the other day and a dog was sat quietly in the corner lead hanging down eyes transfixed on his owner , a young boy ran upto the dog and the dog owner said "stay away he MAY bite" the boys mother said why is he not under control then?, the owner replied "HE is under control, can you say the same about your son?, he wouldn't bite, but if you had the decency to ask me 1st before allowing your son to aproach my pet then it would of been ok" how right the owner was, and well done him
