HELLO!!

Hi everyone

I'm known as 'Ken' and I live with my wife and 20yr old son in sunny Stafford, England.

I've joined the forum 'cos I love the wonderful Staffy breed and I get so down about the negative press they so often seem to get these days, mainly from people who appear to be quite ignorant of just what fantastic dogs they are. I want to be amongst people who know the breed, from whom I can learn more and with whom I can share smilin' Staffy happy times and stories...they're brilliant aren't they?? Smile

Well Bullies are absolutely fab as well aren't they? Beautiful dogs. And thank you for your comment about the name!

I think I may have misled folk 'cos actually my Boris, the only Staffy I've ever owned, died many years ago now. I still think of him, he was such faithful hound. Once Staffies are in your blood they're there forever I think..no doubt you'd say the same about brilliant Bullies!! Blushing

You're quite right Blue - I didn't quite make it in the Royal Marines so I joined the Navy in '79 and served as a Radio Operator until late '82. Are you in the services?

No Ken, im a self employed joiner which can be an equally dangerous job with all them wood splinters.
I've just knew Bootneck was a Royal Marine term. You must of been a fit bloke to of even gone for the Royal Marines. Hats off to you
