Result !!

Oh went into town yesterday with my daughter .. popped into the pound shop to see if she could see any cheapo tennis balls for Max to pull apart after retreiving them about 5 times ... chap in there said .. "go to that sports shop over there, they sell second hand ones" ... off she toddled

She ended up gettin 20odd proper tennis balls (not the nasty things that wont even bounce) for 7quid !! ... that should keep him goin till the w/end

The lady in there apparently said in a snooty type of voice .. "we usually only re-sell Slazenger, but we dont have any left at the moment" ... to which my oh sez ... "ok, well we'll take these for now, and pop back another day ... he prefers a quality ball if possible to rip up!" ......

I had the same problem, we went for a cricket ball in the end! And they are still going strong

Yeah we found the best all round to be the synthetic (heavy plastic) cricket balls for Max so far, but ya cant get them second hand for 35p each to my knowledge

Good point, I brought mine from ebay second hand, I think I brought three old vintage balls for like 7 quid.

I bought Harry 75 tennis balls for 39p each in JD Sports just before Christmas. The girl in the store thought I was mad (she could be right). But I got my own back on her as I had to put them all in a basket and take them to the till. She wasn't allowed to take my word that their were 75 of them so counted them in to a carrier bag. When someone spoke to her she lost count and had to start all over again

Harry is well pleased and they last reasonably well, only thing is he has now found a way of picking up 2 in his mouth at once. Unfortunately I have to use several balls at the same time as he will fetch but won't give up!

Max you lucky bugger! Posh ones next week though mate
