We have recently discovered that when we sneeze, sasha jumps on us and starts licking our face madly!!
Do any of your staffys do that?

yes they are, only ever had cairn and king charles and sasha is by far the most affectionate!

My elder dog (a patterdale terrier) gets het up if we cough, she circle us till we stop or sits at our feet
