Family's trying to be smart. Empty Family's trying to be smart.

So,we had my OH's cousin and his girlfriend staying with us for Christmas. We told them the rules with Debo, what commands he knows,we told them to be firm with him because he's little clever ruscal and as soon as he sense that some one won't tell him off or treat his behaviour like a game ,that person is on loose possition. And of course we explained that to them. Oh boy, remind me why am I bother? Their answer to that was. Debo needs to listean only to one person( me or my OH?),Debo won't listean to them no matter what. It took Debo less then an hour to find that out and he was on their heads since then. He was good only when me or my OH was around. And of course when they had enough, they tried commands on Debo, they didn't work so they said that we might have problems with DEbo in future, because he's to clever and he wants to be pack leader so we have to watch out. That's why I don't invite people to my house. Crying or Very sad

Debo wasn't impressed with their visit. We had to move his relaxing spot from sofa to the floor and make it extra comfy. I think he forgave me,he's back on the sofa, snuggle to me just now Love Struck ,and I'm listening to perfect music made by him-snoring.

That's why I haven't invited my friend round my house yet. Her response to me explaining the training to her was, "Don't teach him not to bite, he's a puppy, biting is cute." No. NO IT IS NOT CUTE, I have a scar on my arm to prove just how sharp and hard his bites are even when he's just playing. People always think they know best, especially the ones without dogs Laughing
