I may just pop!!

So it's big headed but I don't care!! I proud as punch! The last two days sid has been the perfect dog and got complements evrywhere!! Like yesterday,went for a big long walk and he was off leash for 90% of it,not moving from my side apart from when I told him to sit so I could take pics,and walked on past every dog we saw no bother,we came across one oldish chap win a jack russel that was pulling away on his lead so I stopped,sid sat down so I pointed to my right side (opposite side to the bloke) and he just went to my right and walked past good as gold,to which the old fella said "very good,very good,good lad" which was a tiny bit patronizing but hey,a compliment all the same! And today we had to lend a poo bag to a man with a lad pup and again sid got alot of praise for behaving(the blokes face was a picture,young lad with one of those staff dogs and it's behave better than mine) then on the way back (off leash)he completely ignored a American bully which pulled his owner off the pavement when he saw sid and at the same time a gsd coming the other way which we see alot was pulling tring to get at sid and he again just walked past,then some young teen agers were saying ah,look at that dog,he's well trained en-eh!! (isn't he,leiceter accent!) needless to say I walked through the door grinning from ear to ear!! Then my mrs had to hear this whole story,anyway bost over!

Great!!!!!!! Funny you should say about the old man, was out today and a little old ladies dog came over to Moo, they where sniffing but the women was like 'here girl, come on, come here'............and so on. I just walked past said 'afternoon, come here Moo' and she just came straight away. Needless to say this women looked rather shell shocked!! We then carried on and 3 small dogs came running over, Moo just wandered off (she hates smaller dogs) but the old women was like 'arr there so cute'!! Long story short but whyy was it ok for the smaller dogs to run up ti hers but it was like my fault hers ran up to mine.

Anyway sorry for going on, and well done you and Sidney!!!!!!

It makes me laugh!! Not all people but alot of people just see staff and think killer!! And it's often thier dog that is the little sh....

dont do it janey!! I lost my rag once at some stuck up flipper and gave him a gob full! But regretted it ad then I was what he sees as a "typical idiot with a staff" and I could imagin him tellin his wife when she brought him his pipe and slippers!!

I know I know but makes me so made, as with Sidney (and yes we are lucky to a degree) they are so well behaved and its other peoples ignorance!!

I know.............just had a lot recently and really getting on my t*ts!!!!!!!! We all have great dogs and if we have problems we are all responsible to keep them on lead etc, and these jumped up people (and not all, like Sid getting some praise) are complete nonchalent ***s!

I'd like to think peoples opinion is slowly(and it is gonna be slow) coming round! I hope anyway!! Have noticed though that if i'm in my work clothes (work fleece and boots and that) I get a lot more mornings and how do's and evenings than if I wear a jacket or jumper with a hood on it!! And I was wearing a "hoodie" way before all the chavs got hold of them!!

But I was quite smart when I walk, suppose its the suck up people I meet round here lol (sorry any old people from Surrey) but they all seem to be the same!!!

well done sid!
not wanting to change the topic but when i was walking lola yesterday she met a old staffy .they were both off the lead so i rushed over and so did the old lads owner after the usual sniffing lola decided it was fine to atach herself to the side of the old boys face wich he didnt like so he growled.his owner told him if he didnt want to be friends he shouldnt stay and on my life he put his tail between his legs and walked of in a huff and sat about 6 meteres away giving us dirty looks.funniest thing ive ever seen and one of the best trained dogs ive seen in a while.goes to show how well staffs can behave evn if a jumped up little red is hanging of there jowels lol
