Oh, Carmen, I'm so sorry. You must be going through so much at the moment.

The funeral will be difficult, no doubt about that, but try to stay calm for the sake of your grandmother's memory.

Maybe it could become a healing time for you all.

Absolutely; you are important as well, and of course Prince needs you to be strong for him!

what sad news, please be strong for your nan and of course Prince.

We had a family quarrel when my mum died I was 10 at the time, by dad up sticks and moved away with me, I never saw any of my mums family again. Having said that, when I was old enough I suppose I could have traced them.

Hey, Carmen, glad it went ok for you. Sometimes I think we cope better than we feared, especially once the funeral is over - that's when we can start to move on.

You'll probably get periods where you'll be really down, but try to remember the good times & see if you can get some recent pics that you can look at when you really miss her.

Oo, I know what I'm like. I usually get a delayed reaction with things. It's happened before; something really bad happens, I'm 'fine' after a few days, then BAM!, one morning I wake up fall apart, and can't put myself back together again.
