Hi Dylan and Miley have been together since last saturday. We are a little concerned about Mileys behaviour with Dylan. The poor lad cant get any peace Miley is instigating play with him constantly. She bites him in very tender places like his ears legs etc. I want to ask if this behaviour will calm down. Even when he is sleeping she will go to him and bite his muzzle and face. we are hoping this will subside soon as we cant have this behaviour from her when he has had his castration operation. When we seperate them for a time out Miley crys and whines at the door to get back at him again. Its getting a bit much for him i think he just tries to walk away as he is alot quieter and more placid than Miley. Smile

May be a good idea to separate them for a while during the day, a crate would be a very good idea as they could still see each other.

All you can do is step in when you think he needs a break. Hopefully she'll get used to him in a little while - it won't be such a novelty!

ok thanks we are waiting for his crate to be delivered. We will give them a bit of time during the day in their crates to see if that helps. He cant go out till he has his jabs so maybe when there both out they will get tired

Yeah, it does calm down a bit after a while. However, they love to drag each other about by the ears, scruff or whatever they can get a hold of. Much better when they both can get exercise. Still, they will play rough and chomp on each other for fun.

If they are like our 2 don't walk anywhere where you might come across a stick or 1 will die , Tommy attacks Tilly to take her sticks off her the little b*****d all other times it is loud growly and playful
