doris...kennel cough :(
we took poor doris to vets today, while we was waiting in the waiting room we noticed doris had discharge coming out her nose. Doris has slight kennel cough, slightly swolen glands, and high temperature. Been put on antibiotics for a week. Vet said our other dogs should be fine but may get a cough but nothing to worry about.

Re: doris...kennel cough :(
You should keep her away from your other dogs though it is contagious and you don't want them sick too..

Our new rescue dog has kennel cough and is on antibiotics. Fortunately Miley has had the KC vaccination. They did say at the rescue centre that benylin cough mixture can help. Dont know about a puppy though

she has not been anywhere only vets for boosters. but vet said even taking my other dogs for walks they can pick the germs up and pass it on to doris.
