i'm watcing 2012 apocalype

what would you do if you lost your power / net?

i think i woud hang myself

headtorch on and read a book. wouldnt be the first time either

it said country like he usa and and uk it could take 10 year before a recover

if the country collapsed, the world would be done in a month regardless. with nobody working at the nuclear power stations they would all go into meltdown and the planet would end up uninhabitable.

just to give you all a happy thought...

There could be a big solar flare in 2013 that could essentially throw us back into the dark ages cos it can wipe out the power grids or...something like that, you know, everyone without electricity. It's happened before, but because we rely more on technology now, it'd be worse.

Ok ... "to do" list:

Get knife collection out, and check for sharpness >

train Max to kill wabbits once he's caught them (instead of kissing them and lettin them go )

ask santa for the "Ray Mears Survival Collection" and watch back to back untill power is lost

bring my old 12gauge shotgun out of hybernation in the loft, and stock up on cartridge's (to kill the zombies )

Come on now bit harsh that , might have no brains but that doesn't make me a Flesh eating monster

i would do a crazy thing and sleep when its dark and do my bits and pieces through the day
grow veg and build an old style fireplace for warmth when cold
its only electricity we have lived without before and sure we could again

We could gather up all the little handbag rats for a short term food supply , sure Tommy and Tilly wouldn't mind a couple of mouthfuls (my dogs are still well alive by the way and will be right up until my dying day) the rest of the family could turn into food or be allowed to stay , all depends whether we went to sleep on an argument or not > >

I was thinking more of him protecting his beer, not you being a zombie . and we are dog lovers so the handbag rats can be fed on when desperate, he's a better candidate to eat .

she's not exactly the most loving family pet we've ever had and doesn't come in so she's first on my list

lisa and ella have enough pets to keep us fed for a while and Eleanor got access to the college animals so we got a animal food supermarket

Me too kid ... the nearest asian supermarket is in Worcester, so when I first started stockin up on all the ingredients (I had no idea how much to get and it seemed cheap) i bought kilo bags of each spice ... still using it now

ha-ha i just ask what i need and get 2kg bags of everything off my mates dads lol
and even if they didn't there 3 Asian supermarkets within 2 miles

Is the title film of this thread one and the same, or a differant film ?

looks like there have been quite a few movies based on 2012 if you look on Imdb
