What else do we like to do?

Just wondering what else the dog lovers/owners amongst us like to do?
I'm a keen carp fisherman, and Ella comes along with me on most trips; whether that be a couple of hours, an all day session or a 2-3 night campaign.
She loves the outdoors, and is exceptionally well behaved beside the water.
I am also a member of the Site Management team of a very friendly carp fishing related forum, details of which may be found here:

I am also a bit of a dab hand in the kitchen, (apparently) and a huge fan of West ham United. (Don't shoot me for this though.......... Pleeeease!) Laughing

Lastly, I have a passion for Motorcycles - riding, track days, racing and going to events.
Just thought it would give an insight into 'us' as well as our dogs a little Wink

I'm a home brewers and make very nice beer cider and wine. I make the booze with grain malted barley and other nice ingredients. None of the tin beer kits. I'm also a global mod on a home brew forum. I also play golf as I get free membership at the golf club where I work. Smile

My son used to love his carp fishing, and his grandad fancies himself as a bit of a specimin fisherman (think he's had a 31 pounder Surprised

) but neither of them do much nowadays!

I too have been a biker all my life Big Grin

, and done a few trackdays Big Grin

.. I've had a MENTAL supermoto for the last three yrs which is prob the most fun I've ever had on two wheels (usually one wheel tho Wink

) .. what bike ya got ?

Done a lot of rock climbing over the yrs, tho what with my climbing buddy moving away, and a bike accident, I havent been doin much the last couple yrs or so at wits end

... then I started again doin some indoor wall climbing a couple months back, and tore the flexor tendons in two fingers whilst doin a lead climb doh

... so I've been unable to climb AGAIN!! angry

I went fishing once. I hooked a little catfish by its eyeball and then felt really bad so i ripped the hook out and kicked it back lol

Thus ended my fishing career, although my favorite toy is still my hot pink rod. (.... Laughing

...it really has been too long)

I horse ride though and thats about it. I'm a bore.

I do like baking and would do loads if I had a kitchen to work in, sadly I don't right now. I also like motorbikes and football. I grew up with three older brothers so am a bit of a tom boy. My youngest brother used to race in motorbike and sidecars, he was the passenger though, although he does still have a bike now.

When I was younger I used to do some cake decorating, but that was when I did have a kitchen to work in at home.

I've never been fishing and would probably just sit there and fall asleep.

I spend the week fixing other peoples cars, so when the weekend rolls round I like nothing better than tinkering and fixing my own. Im into my vauxhalls, and im an active member on the UK's only dedicated Nova forum and club, along with staffys they get bad press along with the owners, so as a club we've been trying to change the image for many years (and were accepted as a Vauxhall recognised owners club a few years back, a huge achievement).Also a proud member of the "playstation generation" so I spend probably four hours a week saving the world, when Lola lets me....
Alsoa lifelong Man City fan, been watching them for the last 16 years so its about time I had something to cheer about

Other than the royal highness Blue, I love spending time with the family. I also have a passion for playing poker, mainly short handed cash tables. I also like a drink or 2 at most liar

One of my ex-colleagues is big on Corsa's and was always on the Corsa forum at work (when he could get away with it)
I've owned a lot of Vauxhall's myself, from MK1 Cavalier's & Astra's through to MK3/4 respectively including GTE/GSI
and a couple of Omega Elite's too Big Grin

... had a Vauxhall stage ... had an Astra 1.8SRI (dyno'd and pretty quick!), an Astra 16v GTE, and a Cavalier 2.0 16v SRI (you can just see a little bit of it in this pic .. but obviously I was concentrating on summut else at the time Laughing

i had a carlton cdx with a 2.6 diplomat engine with full lotus bodykit it blew my mates saffie cossie Cool

learner car was a astra gte (driving instructor was a vauxhall rally driver)
second motor was a nova 1.3 sr
and lastly car before my i20 was a corsa 1,4sxi (very poor)

Actually, I was in the very exclusive, and wealthy village of Broadway last week end (where LOTS of tv and film stars live), and outside one of the 5* resturants was guess what ? .... a pukka Lotus Carlton Love Struck

I love my cars and have done a few track driving mainly Porsche feraris and other fast cars also tried rally driving great fun

I used to own a vauxhall cavalier Sri A reg in mint condition only one owner from new I loved the sitting at lights with boy racer cars beside me and leaving them for dust had to sell it as needed a smaller car less fuel useage

Used to ride horses and helped train a pony to be ridden western style

My other hobby when I get time is cycling which my kids love to do as well

Built up a 20 grand Yam R6 and left most of it at Mallory Park after a decent "off".
Rode near-stock proddy bikes after that - cheaper to bin.

Also into gym work, walking and mathematics. Odd combo but there ya go.
