The Hobbit
Anyone seen it? Tolkein fans, anyone? I saw it the day it came out and I'm seeing it again today different kind of feel to LOTR, but it's a different kind of book too, so that's to be expected. I'm not quite sure what the third film will contain though.

Re: The Hobbit
Haven't seen it yet, but saw LOTR. Read both books as well, so I really want to see The Hobbit, just don't know when I'm going to have the time!

Re: The Hobbit
My hubby will probably be going to see it, not my kind of thing though. My hubby can watch Lord of the Rings and stay awake, that's more than I can do.

They are long films, like 9 hours all together. Probably too much if it's not your thing

Re: The Hobbit
Saw it today & wasn't over impressed. Very slow, and the acting not as good as LOTR.
It's 2 hours 50 mins & could probably have been cut down to 2 hours easily.

Re: The Hobbit
Don't get me wrong, there were parts that were really good! But one or two periods were tedious in the extreme & it kinda spoiled it.

Re: The Hobbit
I've finally seen it and thought it was really good, they definitely added more in to extend it from the book but it was still really good!
