Yep. At least we don't have to do all the family gatherings then?! On the other hand, might be seeing J out panhandling after he spends all his money!

Re: the end of the world?
21st or the 23rd. I don't know why, but they worked it out as two possible dates.

Re: the end of the world?
I wonder what they'll say when both dates pass & we're all still here!

Yep, and the ones who predict it all go up into the mountains & pray, and lo & behold the world is saved!

I think this is some sort of mathematical prediction, isn't it?

Re: the end of the world?
It's the Mayans, I read about it when I was lke 10. It was one of their legends about the end of an age. At the end of each age, some kind of disaster would wipe out most of the population and we'd start again. People just like to go mad over things.

Re: the end of the world?
I believe the Mayans retracted their prediction a while back anyway - surprise, surprise! What a load of bull.
Still drinking on the 20th though!

Well, that's the end of it, then - the world can't end until Blue's eaten everything!

Re: the end of the world?
No problem, I'll just make a new calendar to run for 5126 years from now. That should do it.

I'd get a nuclear-proof suit, 1000 cans of food and 500 gallons of water instead, Dave.
Might not be what she wanted, exactly, mind you.

Possibly not, but the nuclear-proof suit will help to protect him from her rage!

Happy Doomsday everyone
I'm marking the occasion by listening to Aenima by Tool ("some say the end is near, some say we'll see Armageddon soon) and watching 2012. Suitable for the occasion I think.
