Home Viewing Empty Home Viewing

Post by Kathy Fri Dec 07 2012, 19:37

We have a couple coming to view our home on Monday afternoon which has be done through a housing association home swapper site.

I would love to make a cake for them but cannot decide between a fairly plain Madeira cake or a Victoria Sponge with home made jam inside, which to go for ??????

We are then hoping to view their home on either Tuesday or Wednesday but I guess that depends on whether they like ours first.

Went with the Victoria sponge Wink and I made a loaf of bread in the machine too, that smells amazing when you walk in the front door.

That and the sight of loads of shots lined up on the kitchen worktop. Then when they walk into the kitchen you and the kids start going down them!, down them!
Always makes them feel at home

We are going to view their house tomorrow at mid day. Have just charged up the camera and ready to go.

I think they liked the flat but they didn't want to say anything until we had been to see their house "in case we dont like it". So long as it's a quiet area that all that matters really.

Thanks everyone, the viewing went very well. The house has a huge garden, Rocky will love it. Unfortunately he didn't get to see it today, we left him in the car when we got there as they have cats, that wouldn't go well I dont want to s

All the rooms are a good size, kitchen dinner, lounge, utility room, bathroom with full size bath and shower, separate toilet and two large bedrooms thumbs up . I dont think we have enough furniture at the moment, we dont have a dining table to begin with, but that will come later i dont know

They were a bit concerned that our flat is small, which is very true, and they may not be able to fit all their possessions in here nail biting , but will look at the room dimensions and sizes and see what they can juggle around, if so they we can go ahead with the swap. praying praying praying
