Max v my Landrover Empty Max v my Landrover

Post by janemac Tue Dec 04 2012, 18:18

Well, I took Max to work today and left him in the Landrover cab for an hour and a half on a big snuggly blanket. He'd had a big breakfast, a big walk and he was curled up fast asleep when I checked him after about 30 mins of leaving him alone...
On returning to the Landrover I found Max having a great time Surprised My steering wheel has a bite out of it, the small gearstick has no rubber left round it, the handbrake has a few bite marks and my seatbelt no longer works as he chewed the bottom bit right up.... oh dear
All I could think is 'it's a good job I don't have a RangeRover!!

Note to self: Staffies like a good chew on anything and everything when left with things that can be chewed!! Rolling Eyes

yes they can get bored pretty fast. We used to leave Miley in the kitchen in her bed but on returning home the bin was over and she had eaten the contents plus chewed one of the unit doors Smile

Ahhh yes that can happen, I think the moral of this story is: dont leave your dog alone in the car. Big Grin

I must be really lucky with Maggie by the sounds of it, she has the run of the whole house when we go out and the most destruction I've come home to is a cardboard box ripped up and a tissue box and tissues shredded all over the living room Smile Now I've told you guys that though I've probably jinxed myself and will come home to a wrecked house tomorrow Laughing

Oops. This is why my doggies ride in our older vehicle and not my new truck. Lol. If they do, it will be in travel crates. Wink

We blocked off the back of our car so much it looks like a police car but at least Suki can't come up front for a visit while we are driving
