Trying to get to know :)!

Hi all,

I would love to see some of your dog's please?
My mum isn't too sure on weather marley should look like this if he is a full staffy and she said if he is half pit she is getting rid of him because there 'not friendly' i need to try and change her mind with some cute pictures of they's adorable staffies!

It is highly highly unlikely that Marley has any pit in him at all , the only "pit " you will see in the UK are type, dogs that have been crossed to give a certain appearance. And it remains fact the the "pit" has a very similar friendly nature to the stafford and is yet another misjudged breed anyway

Any dog can be bad, It's the owner that generally makes the diference in my opinion. I only know one pitbull, a friend liberated her from a owner who wasn't looking after her very well, She is a american red nose and has the same temperment as a Staffie, and is one of Storms best friends. I've walked her many times with Storm and she is a great dog. Storm's snout isn't as long as some Staffies and a friends KC registered Staffies have a shorter snout, but he's a great friendly lovable dog which is what really matters to me

This is a great picture of Rocky with his good friend Rambo (Rocky is on the right as you look at the shot). Rocky is a Staffy cross with ???? we think it now could be a Patterdale, making him a Staffadale:

Looking here I don't see any cross in Rocky and he is looking very fit and handsome

There aren't going to be many real pitbulls in the UK since they're banned, and the vast majority of them are just crosses to look like pitbulls. Not to mention, pitbulls are very human-friendly, just like Staffs. It's just the media blowing things out of proportion. Marley could be a Staff x, but not likely to be crossed with a pitbull.

Why don't you sit with your mum and watch some of the video's on here. Just let her see how eager they are to please,how soft they are with people,how easy to train they can be. There are lots of shots of children with the dogs all In real danger from the staffies.....of getting staffy snogs and loves. Staffies speaking is the cutest, she will soon be a fan. I would wish you luck but staffy love would melt the coldest heart so you won't need luck

if i could figure out how to do it i would upload the video of my staffy cross, Charlie, that i took this weekend 'attacking' my 3 yr old. He was licking her to death while she had a fit of the giggles.
