At least they are not hurt, does your lad pay his own insurance? It's not just teenagers, my mrs has just driven away with a glove sized hole in the ice and she's 47 no sense at all

So glad they're both ok, that's the main thing!
I bet he won't get the full value off the insurers, though!

Re: F***in teenagers!!
We are hoping the guy will settle without an ins claim tbh, otherwise at 19, the renewal cost will out of the question .... just to put that in context, his first years ins was £3k on a corsa worth a grand if that ... he's just had his second yrs premium at £1200 ... so it will rocket back up to god knows what

Glad they are ok. I have a 19yr old son and I know how frustating and downright scary they can be.. Hard lesson for your son to learn I'm don't think I have had a decent night sleep since mine got his car..

Re: F***in teenagers!!
glad there ok but thats teens for you i would say it takes 2/3 years of driving to get used to changing over to winter from summer driving .
hopefully not to much damage to the tank/land cruiser .
but on the bright side he will now have a wakeup to the dangers of winter and be a better safer driver.
i know i was a cocky driver when young and my first crash calmed me a lot.

They are a pain at least they were not injured. It could have been worse. What damage has the other vehicle got

Re: F***in teenagers!!
Was the corsa a complete write off ?? Or is it repairable ?? Could you buy it back from the insurance company at a cheap price ??? Or are you no longer able to do this kind of thing ?
