Help, Gary has just been on a mad one and ran into the cofee table and hit his head. its 00:32 am and im realy tired and ready for bed but now hes hit his head im worried about letting him sleep.
would he be ok or is it work keeping him awake for the next hour?

no swelling or bleeding but it made a right thud, ive ran my fingers through his head , neck and back but theres no blood. hes a tough cookie he didnt even yelp but he ran right into it.

I would think he would be okay if there is no swelling. As long as his balance isn't impared and walking funny or unable to focus on an object. Their heads are pretty hard and they do tend to run into things fairly often.

Hes defenetaly his usual self it hasnt stopped him on his mad one he keeps running into teh kitchen tehn sprinting back into the front room hes of his rocker. his balance seems normal. he seems normal i just wanted peice of mind Smile

No issues, I don't think they are as big an issue with dogs as they are with humans. Here's a link you might find interesting

the brain is encased in bone and surrounded by a layer of fluid, it takes a major blow to the head to fracture the skull and injure the brain.

Im sure he will be ok, ive only got to keep him up for another half hour then ill have a better night sleep my self Smile better to be safe than sorry. thanks for your help Big Grin

defenataly is Smile hopefully he will think twice about trying to run under the cofee table at full pelt now. he does scare me at times.
