this just makes me so sad to see all the dog that no body wants. they all have the same excuses. i work to much, i broke up, i have no time. why even get a dog in the first place if you where not going to comit. i can understand something like...OWNER DIED! AM NOW HOMELESS! CHRONICALLY ILL WITH CANCER! thats about it.
I knew there where going to be times when i had to work alot. i organised a puppy sitter. i have two, one that dies it for free and the other does it for a fee, but i'm willing cause i actually love my dog

It's just setting yourself up for feeling upset if you look around on sites like that. It's terrible to see all the same excuses for giving up their dog. Like Taryn said, I can understand the serious reasons people just aren't able to look after their dog or give it the attention it deserves, but being at work all day is no excuse. Your kids go to school for most of the day, but you don't get rid of them because you don't spend every hour of the day together.

I agree with this. If you cannot possibly cope with your pet, contact a rescue centre they will try to help with the problem first.

To be fair the waiting list for rescue centres is extortionate, we're constantly so over run with stray dogs, right now we can't take anything else in until next March! Most in the UK are in the same position with big waiting lists.. then people just let their dogs go and they wind up as strays anyway! The country is just broken Sad
