just bid on a childhood toy
I have found a toy aircraft carrier on ebay that I have spent years trying to find from my childhood in the early 70's,it shows it's old no batteries needed, before battery and toy makers joined forces lol. I hope I win it. Has anyone else done this ? If so what was it?

Re: just bid on a childhood toy
I didn't really have any toys when I was young. I am the youngest with 3 older brothers so I got to play with Action Man and toy soldiers, no wonder I am such a Tom Boy now really

My sister had them until her big brother cut their hair and spray painted them and burnt them, is it just a man thing to buy toys from their childhood?

Re: just bid on a childhood toy
Big Trax was one of mine and they re- launched it a couple of years ago.
One I have always wanted to get again was a giant toy spider that you shot with an infra red gun. Never worked out that when you shot it the spider then knew where you were and ran for you at which point you screamed and got trigger happy only to make matters worse. I would love to find it so I could destroy my childrens confidence like my mother did to me.

Re: just bid on a childhood toy
starwars figures my mate had them all and ships all boxed kept in his mums loft. One day he went to his mums and she said she had sold them all for £50 on a car boot sale and she was chuffed, that was 7 years ago and he still hasn't spoken to her since lol
