Re: mixed food
chicken etc should be given as a treat say every week or 2 weeks. Bones i would not give at all except the nylabone type. We feed our dog on dry food and wet food in the evening and bicuits too.

Re: mixed food
It's quite normal for them not too eat as much of a good quality food (the Arden Grange would be better quality than the Beta), it would probably have a higher protein content and would be more filing.

Re: mixed food
If he likes the chicken and the bones - why not move him onto a raw diet?

Re: mixed food
Google BARF diet for dogs and it will give you all the details you need.
Raw meat, veggies, bones, chicken wings etc - research into it.

I hope your not giving boiled chicken bones! bones should only be given RAW. Yes he can eat a raw diet my two are on a solely raw diet, no dry or wet food ever.
Have a look at these for more info

Re: mixed food
I had the same problem with Ellie when she stopped eating her dried food so i put a spoon of natural yoghurt mixed in. A little goes a long way and she wolfs it up.
