The Child has a grumbling Appendicitis
they checked the levels of white blood cells in her wee and said they are high but not high enough to whip them out! They are going to reassess her on Tuesday.....
I'm sweating as we have tickets to see Frank Turner on Saturday night!!
Sympathy is not my middle name right now!!

Oh, no! Poor girl. Is she in a lot of discomfort?

Re: The Child has a grumbling Appendicitis
she doesn't seem totally over bothered, she was sent home on Thursday with a sore throat and tummy ( she's 9), and as her teacher said she's really not one for moaning and has a high pain threshold, to the point where we only discovered she had a massive ulcer on her back tooth when half of it fell out!!
She described the pain as like Beryl was inside her tummy scratching to get out! She's very lethargic and not her usual bouncing off the walls self. They said if the Urine sample Tuesday shows the white blood cells are at the same level or got higher then they'd refer her up to the hospital to do blood tests and get the ball rolling for taking them out
Having never had my appendix out I was a bit clueless to how much pain you where meant to be in, rang her dad and turned out he'd not had his out ether , so thought I'd take her to the walk in centre to see what the what was!
