I agree that owners of dogs that bite postmen should face tough measures, but why show a pic of a SBT? My local postman has told me that generally speaking the Stafford is the only breed they're not too bothered about seeing inside a property's gate!

Why the stafford pic? angry have i mis-read the article? has that actual dog bitten anybody or is it a case of lets get on the band wagon and blame the staffy angry .Wouldn't it be prudent to use a jrt for the article since the sad news the last few days , and the chances are they attack more often.BUT if i am wrong i apologise for the mini rant , and why can't we comment on the article?

Also can't stand the staffie hatred.. but I'll be honest I've met a fair few people aggressive staffs in my line of work.. and worked with many that have seriously hurt people to the point of hospitalizing them! But of course I've worked with highly aggressive dogs of various other breeds too. I almost had my face torn open by an Airedale not long ago, and had my arm dragged into a kennel by an Old English Sheepdog! I've personally never been bitten by a staff though! Gotta be realistic, I love the breed but they're very strong dogs, and in the wrong hands can be a real problem! But of course, until the people problem is resolved, the dog problem never will be Sad
