baby be here soon

well ma and maz had a scan today as the bump was measuring smaller than it should have been , on scan baby was measuring 4lb 8oz which is small for 38wks 5days , were back in thursday for baby to get monitored then sat were in again for maz to be induced , doc said everything was as it should be apart from baby being small so here's hoping nothings wrong and were just having a small baby

It happens nicky. Some are small, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with them.

Tell maz good luck, and I hope it doesn't take too long. We'll all be rooting for all three of you (plus dogs of course!)!

Yeah i know a few people who have had small babies she will be glad when it comes to pushing anyway feel sorry for these women who have huge 13lbs

Dont worry at all... ALL 3 of mine were what you call IUGR Inter-utrine-growth-redartation... which really means your belly just aint big enough for them to grow big...
all mine stopped growing at 33 week... born at 38,36+6 and 37... all good.
5.5 , 6.12 and 6.03.. all healthy and little..

On the bright side... i didnt have much weight to loose and i was tiny as a half soccer ball
good luck with it all... give our love to Maz.. Inductions are hard work.. i had 3 .. not fun.. but in saying that they are usually quicker..
so that is a bonus

i wouldnt pay to much attention to the scans our first was going to be small 5.5 pounds she was attually 8.4 and the second was a bigger baby 10+ and she turned out 7 pounds i think its all guess work really

Small things come in great packaging!!!!
I have three, long time ago now my first was born at 28 weeks and was 2lb 2 oz next 38 weeks 6lb 8 oz and last 34weeks 6lb 5oz.
Im sure your baby is going to be fine and small babies are so lovely and come on a lot quicker than big ones.
Your going to have all these crazy women going on about childbirth now.

I most defo had a big enough belly for both mine to grow as big as they wanted!!! lol i defo didnt have your trouble mel.......i wish! They told me my second baby has stopped growing and induced me at 38 weeks........she was nearly 9lb! Imagien if she had been left in there another 2 weeks!!!!

its pretty much impossible not to worry a bit , just keeping the game face on so maz doesn't get stressed , were off up hozy in a bit to get maz strapped up to the wee machine that monitors baby and the pressure / contraction dont ask me what its called lol
