cleanest ever poo! (tmi)
So i came home this morning to find Diesel had done a poo, totally my fault i fell asleep before work by accident and when i luckily woke up only had time to run her out for a quick pee, no evening walk bad mummy! Although i did have a rant at her why as to why she didnt wake me!!
But the strange thing about her poo was that
1. It was white...or light cream at least and
2. Smelt of bleach! No word of a lie, not only was it not smelly normal poo it smelt like bleach!
Now as far as i am aware she's not been drinking bleach unless she can open cupboards and remove lids now! So any ideas why this would be????
not that am complaining obviously, cause i could of come home to rotten egg bumgravy

Since my 2 have been on raw food their poops have been more lighter in color and less smelly ! But can't say they smell like bleach, just not smelly if u know what I mean.

'Ello!
The colour will most definitely be the bone she's had, as for the smell I have to agree with Wazza. If it was a beef bone alot of dogs have trouble digesting them as they are very dense so i would say it a combination of the undigested bone and stomach acid

Re: cleanest ever poo! (tmi)
no it's fine, alot of dogs can't chew through beef bones and can't digest them. Keep an eye on it and remember not to let her have the large leg bones as they are to dense.
I reguarly feed the boys beef bones and as they are monster chews go through them with ease

So sorry to keep going on about poo. But she still seems really constipated? When i take her out she's been struggling a bit to do little rabbit poos then 10mins later does it again then sometimes 3times in the hr we'r out?
really thinking of not giving her bones, its just the beef mix bones from DAF assuming they dont include leg bones?
would i maybe b better with just the DAF mince? Since that includes the bones she needs but they'r already crushed up

You just need to adjust the amount of bones in the diet. Cut down a little & maybe add a bit of offal for the next couple of days & you should see a difference.

i've never had legs bones in the mixed beef bones and i get them everytime i order.
Like i said beef bones are VERY dense and not all dogs can eat and digest them, my two can and have never been constipated from them but she might not be able to digest them enough!
I don't like just feeding mince even if it contains bone, I'd rather feed whole bones and boneless meat with separate offal, to me that's a much better diet.
