Chocolate Pistachio Fudge

Have just made a tray of this in readiness of my homemade Christmas pressies:

Chocolate Pistachio Fudge

350g Dark Chocolate, at least 70% cocoa, chopped
1 * 397g can condensed milk
30g butter
pinch of salt
150g unsalted pistachios, shells removed

Place the chopped chocolate, condensed milk, butter and pinch of salt in a heavy based pan over a low heat and stir until melted and well combined. Remove from the heat.
Place the pistachio in a freezer bag and bash with a rolling pin until broken into some small pieces and some larger pieces.
Add the nuts to the melted chocolate mixture and stir well.
Pour the mixture into a 23 cm square tray and smooth the top.
Let the fudge cool then refrigerate until set.
Cut into small pieces approx. 3cm * 2cm. Once cut the fudge can be kept in the freezer.

I did quality control on a piece, as you have to, it is delicious,

Note: I used pecan nuts instead of pistachio with excellent results.

mmm sounds yummy!

Was thinking of trying macadamias in it as a pressie for a friend who is quite literally nuts for them, reckon it would turn out ok?

I'm pretty sure any nut would be fine, just pop them in a bag and give them a bash with the rolling pin.
