Jekyll & Hyde
I think I've got two identical pups who switch places when you get complacent.
Last night total nightmare...went for our evening walk, pulling, jumping on other dogs, jumping on people, got a severe telling off from a small terrier cross, pulled on the lead all the way home. Don't know how many times I refused to move until I had a slack lead. Took ages to get 200yds, anybody saw me must have thought I was getting out of breath a lot. Got home, he took a maddie then wouldn't settle. Stole a biscuit off my wife's knee when she sat down and made her spill her cuppa. Even whimpered for a short time in his crate when we went to bed, which he never does.
This morning
We go for a pee/poo walk about 7.20 am ( about 20 mins.) behaved impeccably and did both. Gave him his breakfast, went to work for an hour and a half. Came home. Took him out for his proper walk, about 1 hour, including about 40 mins off lead on a huge common close by. Again, best behaviour, walked beautifully on and off lead. Got home, we played with kong for a bit then he sloped off to bed and is sleeping now.
Must have guessed he was going back last night.
But which one will be at Che Rodger tonight???

Re: Jekyll & Hyde
I think you are describing every other puppy there is. Patience and perseverance may well be the key here and the time for it all to sink in fully. You will get there in time I'm sure.

Re: Jekyll & Hyde
Same with Loki, except with us he's mostly good, and when meeting other people/dogs, he's just...well, he's evil

He's lovely, but what's that bright thing causing the shadows in your avatar?? Don't see much of that in Aberdeen at this time of year
